This year although we won’t be able to walk together... we will all take a walk remembering Chanie – my walk will be on the Beltline in my riding, a former railway track. In Secret Path week, we think about and acknowledge the human cost of colonialism, residential schools and the racist ideology that informed them. Gord Downie called on us, all of us, to do better.
