All Canadians who want a vaccine will have access to a free and safe vaccine by the end of September 2021.

The federal government procures vaccines, and provinces and territories handle the rollout. The federal government, Public Health Canada, and the National Advisory Committee on Immunization are helping advise provinces and territories on their rollout.

Although vaccines are continuing to be administered, and COVID-19 cases may be beginning to decline, we still need to protect ourselves and others from the virus. That's why it is more important than ever to avoid all non-essential travel, wear a mask, stay home as much as possible, follow local public health advice, and use the COVID Alert app
